How does aging affect a patient’s communication, and how do I know if it is normal or disordered? This question will be answered in our course on aging and communication. Components of speech, language, and cognition will be addressed with primary and secondary aging characteristics identified. Documentation requirements for effective reimbursement of therapy with this population will be reviewed.
